About Us

This triumphant journey of Air Force School, Coimbatore commenced in the year 1952, as a Nursery school inside the Air Force Administrative College.

Consistent increase in number of students prompted the authorities to add classes in due course of time. And by the year 2003, the school became a full-fledged Secondary School. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) accorded its recognition to Air Force School Coimbatore in the year 1985.

The school also holds the honor of being adjudged as the Best School in Academics from the year 2007 to 2019 among the Air Force Schools across India. Ever since its inception the school has ably dispersed its committed service and contributed towards nation building focusing on holistic development of students.

Quality Policy

The school works 6 days a week (5 days for Pre-Primary and Primary). The school remains closed on second saturday and all government holidays, vacations and special holidays declared by the school authorities.
